How the ChartPractix launch site and simulator handle information

ChartPractix is designed to minimize data collection. The simulator runs primarily in the user's browser and does not require a ChartPractix account in the current release.

1. Website hosting

The ChartPractix website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Like most web hosts and security providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, device/browser information, security events and request metadata under its own privacy terms.

2. Checkout information

Payment and order information is processed by Stripe at checkout. ChartPractix does not need to receive or store full payment-card numbers. The checkout provider may process name, email, billing information, tax information, payment status and fraud-prevention data according to its own terms and privacy policy.

3. Simulator data

In the current browser-based release, settings, session state, notes and related simulator information may be stored locally in your browser using browser storage. Imported OHLCV files are processed for simulation in the browser unless you intentionally export or otherwise transmit data yourself.

4. Analytics and advertising

The current site does not intentionally include third-party advertising pixels or behavioral advertising trackers. If analytics, email marketing or advertising tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are enabled.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to host the site, protect it from abuse, process orders, deliver purchased files, handle support, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Retention and choices

Browser-local simulator data can generally be removed using ChartPractix reset controls or by clearing site storage in your browser. Order and transaction records retained by the payment provider may be subject to tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal retention requirements.

7. Children

ChartPractix is intended for adults and older learners interested in trading education. It is not designed to collect personal information from children.
